Backpack Buddies

Pledge forms for Backpack Buddies are in this week’s bulletin for those who want to participate. The program supplies needy school children with backpacks full of kid-friendly foods to eat at home on the weekends. The cost is $93 a year per student. Pledge forms may be put in the box in the vestibule. Last year, parishioners sponsored all the students identified for the program at Harold McCormick School and additional students from other Elizabethton and Carter County schools.
